Born to Explore
The desire for adventure has always been a part of me.
Whether it's distant travels to the far corners of the world or spontaneous trips closer to home, the urge to explore and move is ever-present. For me, it's not about the final destination, but the journey itself – the moments that surprise you, the stories you collect, and the lessons you learn along the way.
My grand adventure began with a nine-month journey through Southeast Asia. In China, I was struck by the vast nature, while Vietnam enchanted me with its vibrant chaos. In Cambodia, I fully immersed myself in local life, and in Borneo, I trekked through pristine jungles. These journeys shaped me and gave me new perspectives. But I also discovered that adventure doesn’t always have to be far away.
Closer to Home, Just as Grand an Adventure
Back in Belgium, I realized that adventure was waiting for me here too. The Belgian Ardennes, expansive forests, and coastal areas offer everything an adventurous soul needs. Whether it's walking through misty forests, bouldering on rock walls, or enjoying a yoga session by the banks of a babbling river – these moments are just as valuable as distant travels.
Even a walk on a drizzly day can give you that pure, refreshing sense of connection with nature. Walking in the rain makes you mindful of the moment, the smell of damp earth, and the soft patter of raindrops. These are the small adventures accessible to everyone, inviting you to truly live, no matter the weather.

Climbing Thrills
After my journey through Asia, I discovered bouldering in 2012 – a sport that combines strength and focus. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion. Rope climbing soon followed, bringing me closer to nature and to myself.
Climbing taught me to push my boundaries and always keep growing. But yoga, pilates, and trail running also give me balance, strength, and freedom. These activities bring me into flow and adventure, where you, as an active woman, can recognize yourself too.
