Every Brand Starts Somewhere

RainyDays began with a personal story.

Founder Karlijn Eggers has always been driven by curiosity, movement and a love for the outdoors.

After travelling for nine months through Southeast Asia — exploring landscapes from the mountains of China to thejungles of Borneo — adventure became a way of life.

But adventure didn’t stop when shereturned home to Belgium.

That’s where she discovered climbing.

What started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion. Climbing brought together strength, focus and the constant challenge to grow — physically and
mentally.

Where climbing meets design

With years of experience in the fashion and garment industry, Karlijn understood how much good design matters.

Climbing pants should move with you.
They should support movement, not restrict it.

But again and again, she encountered the same problem: climbing pants that didn’t fit women properly.

So she decided to design them herself.

The beginning of RainyDays

In 2024, Karlijn brought her passions together:

  • movement
  • nature
  • and design

That’s how RainyDays was born.

What started as a personal search for better climbing pants became a brand dedicated to creating gear that helps women move freely and confidently.
