About Beatrice
I discovered climbing at 19 and instantly knew it was something special. Starting out as a lead climber, I built a strong technical foundation that shaped me into the athlete I am today. A few years later, I found my true passion in bouldering — and never looked back. In just four years, I progressed from 6B to 8A/V11, driven by dedication, curiosity, and love for the sport.
"If boys do it, it cannot be that hard."
Why RainyDays
I’m inspired by RainyDays and its strong focus on empowering women within the climbing community. It’s a movement that reflects the growth and strength of female climbers today — and one that I truly believe will continue to expand in the years to come. I’m proud to be part of a brand that supports this progression and stands for inclusivity, confidence, and passion.
My connection with RainyDays' values
RainyDays represents more than just performance apparel — it stands for confidence, strength, and supporting women in pursuing their goals without compromise. Those values strongly resonate with me, both as an athlete and as a coach.

Q&A with Beatrice
What does climbing mean to you?
For me, climbing is about growth — both physical and personal. The process of projecting hard outdoor boulders, solving movement puzzles, and pushing through setbacks continuously shapes me as an athlete and as a coach. With over 25 ascents of 7C/V9 and above, climbing remains my biggest source of motivation, challenge, and inspiration.
How are you currently active in the sports and climbing world?
I’m active in the climbing world as a dedicated climbing coach and founder of my own company, Hiku Climbing Performance. Through Hiku, I work with athletes of different levels, helping them build strength, confidence, and a structured approach to their training.
In addition, I work as a routesetter at Boulderzaal The Island, where I combine creativity and movement to design inspiring boulders that challenge and motivate climbers. Being involved both in coaching and routesetting allows me to contribute to the sport from multiple angles and stay deeply connected to the climbing community.
What are your personal goals in climbing?
My personal goals are centred around continuous progression and exploring my limits outdoors. I’m motivated to keep pushing my level in outdoor bouldering, aiming to climb more 8A and eventually progress beyond that. For me, it’s not only about the grade, but about committing to hard projects, embracing the process, and learning from every attempt.
Meet Beatrice
I’m Beatrice — climber, coach and passionate outdoor boulderer. I discovered climbing at 19 and quickly found my true calling in bouldering. Since then, it’s been my way to challenge myself, grow, and express strength and creativity on the rock.
Through coaching and routesetting, I share that passion and help others push their limits.
